English Context
The objective of the 2022 program for English education mentions, that the student body proposes some useful strategies to stimulate the learning of this second language in the preschool students, based on analyzing the context of a preschool, and the evaluation of linguistic inputs applicable to teaching.
Based on the above, as a team, we constructed and applied a questionnaire to collect information about the English classes applied in the Araceli Souza Dueñas preschool, in which the findings were that the educators don´ t know the language or the program, so they don´ t apply any classes. And also, they told us that previously, English was applied in the preschool, since the nannies know the most basic level of English, but for administrative reasons and time, there was no follow-up, we tried to investigate but they did not give us more details since, as mentioned above, were administrative changes.
In conlusion, as for our opinion on the application of English from preschool, we believe that it is very important, since when developing a second language from an early age, they may in the future achieve the required level in order to grow academically and think more about the future employment.
